É M O’Leary
my story
Hi, I’m Éadaoin, a writer, editor and educator from Ireland, now living in the UK. I work with authors, students, and creatives to help them shape, share, and promote their stories. From editing manuscripts and writing marketing copy to supporting students and teaching creative writing, I’ve spent years helping others find clarity, confidence, and their own voice on the page.
…. Where it all began?
My love of language started early. I grew up in rural Ireland surrounded by books, and I was the kind of child who could get lost for hours in a good story. I always knew I wanted to do something with words. That quiet love of reading slowly turned into something more — a fascination with how stories work, and how writing can move people.
That curiosity brought me through many years of study. I earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English, followed by an MA in English Language and Literature, and later, a Professional Master of Education. I’ve taught English to post-primary students in Ireland, the UK, and Spain. I set up this business as a means to offer 1:1 tuition and small group sessions to students of Language and Literature and offer Creative Writing Workshops to students of all ages and abilities because I love helping people develop their ideas and grow in confidence. There’s nothing quite like seeing a student experience that “aha” moment when something finally clicks or when they are over the moon upon receiving their exam results.
I’ve also had the joy of working closely with first-time authors to help them publish their books. Watching someone hold their finished manuscript and proudly say, “I am an author,” is just as rewarding as any classroom breakthrough. Once a book is ready to share, I help authors promote it through compelling copy and strategic marketing. Alongside that, I work with educators and course creators to help their businesses grow and bring their courses online, giving them the support they need to reach more students effectively.
Now, I’m expanding my offer to something more holistic— The Writing Boutique — a space where writers, students, and creative thinkers can access self-paced writing courses (coming soon), publishing advice, and one-to-one support. It’s a place where the craft of writing is taken seriously, and where every story is given the attention it deserves.
For me, this work is deeply personal. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping someone move from an idea to a finished piece of writing and then seeing it reach readers successfully. So, if you’re a student looking to gain confidence, a writer publishing and promoting their first book, or an educator launching a course successfully, you’re in the right place.
If you’re working on something and feel like you need guidance, feedback, or support to bring your words to life, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s find the right words together.
